It was at this time that the country&#8217;s foremost wine ahfficiandos began to filter into the iconic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ronniescotts.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Ronnie Scott\u2019s<\/a> for what turned out to be a fabulous night.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.saint-emilion-jazz-festival.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Saint-Emilion Jazz Festival<\/a> is in it\u2019s 5th edition\u00a0and to launch the festival, we invited the cream, or should we say \u201ccru&#8221;\u2026 (if you get the reference, great &#8211; if not, don\u2019t worry\u2026 but you should probably drink more) of the British wine elite to sample the Grand Cru Class\u00e9s selection from the ancient wine-producing town of Saint-Emilion, France.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">But it wasn\u2019t just wine\u2026 No, we were treated to a truly phenomenal set from France\u2019s\u00a0<span style=\"color: #212121;\"><span class=\"\">sensualist\u00a0pianist (blame Google <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #212121;\"><span class=\"\">Translate) Jean Pierre Como and Hugh Coltman. The playing was truly sensational and\u00a0Coltman&#8217;s\u00a0vocals were masterful. The audience fell totally silent for the performance. For a spit second, the Ladbury team feared perhaps they\u2019d nodded-off due to the level of red wine in the room, until we realize they had not started the tasting session. We were all\u00a0, we were simply\u00a0enthralled by this imitate and emotional performance. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #212121;\"><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #212121;\"><span class=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.saint-emilion-jazz-festival.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Saint-Emilion Jazz Festival<\/a> returns this year with the likes of Faada Freddie, Marcus Millar, Electro Deluxe, \u00a0Jean Pierre Como and more. From July 22nd to 24th this breathtakingly beautiful town, donns it\u2019s proverbial turtle-neck and is immersed by the flavours and tones of jazz and wine.
