A clever new exercise from Artis<\/a>, children click, stamp, slap and clap, each on a different beat of the bar. The activity can be extended by taking the words out and doing just the actions – this will develop pulse internalisation and children\u2019s overall musicality.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This activity is a good warm up for a music session and also helps to get children ready for work. Particularly good for KS 2 and easy to try at home, in the classroom, in the park – even adults can\u2019t resist. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
