The introduction of the All Textures Certification (ATC) and its accompanying Leadership Council marks a pivotal milestone in the ongoing campaign for hair and makeup equity across film and TV. Together, the council \u2013 British actors and industry leaders across beauty, film, and television \u2013 will oversee the certification, shaping a more inclusive future for beauty professionals and the performers they work with on set and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This landmark moment was celebrated ahead of the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards at BAFTA HQ in Piccadilly, London, where British talent and industry leaders came together for a dedicated salon event championing equity in the industry with campaign ambassador actor<\/strong> Lashana Lynch, <\/strong>who says, \u201cI\u2019m so proud to see the progress being made for hair and makeup discrimination, enabling Black artists to collaborate in more trustworthy and collaborative environments. The development of the BBR X Time’s Up UK All Textures and All Complexions Certification is a necessary one.
